Although fans weren’t able to watch a new episode of ‘We Got Married‘ this week due to MBC‘s on-going labor strike, they were still able to enjoy a preview of the show’s upcoming Chinese special.

On February 5th, MBC’s ‘Section TV News‘ aired a four minute long preview of the upcoming special. Divided into parts, the clip focuses first on T-ara‘s Hyomin and her husband Fu Xinbo, before moving onto Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun and wife Lou Yi Xiao.

Hyomin is seen trying to communicate with her husband in Mandarin Chinese; unfortunately, it’s much more difficult than she had hoped, resulting in a puzzled look from her husband. The preview moved on to show snippets from their wedding photoshoot and a trip to the sauna.

Meanwhile, Kyuhyun dazzled his wife with a romantic evening. Lou Yi Xiao was greeted by the sight of rose petals and candles when she stepped out of the elevator, and was later treated to a serenade from her husband.

After Kyuhyun and his wife moved in together, he began to feel a little intimidated by her, as she seems to be extremely skilled with a butcher knife. He sent his wife a nervous message, saying, “I’ll work hard, so please don’t hit me~”

On February 4th, Kyuhyun‘s father held a grand opening for his Korean language academy in Taiwan.

Kyuhyun’s groupmate, Shindong, shared a photo from the event through his me2day and wrote, “February 4th, the opening day of Kyuhyun’s father’s Korean language academy (What kind of academy is this, it’s so nice!! In addition, there are broadcasters and reporters, daebak)!! Couldn’t even catch 1/10 of the scene! Kyuhyun, congrats! Hope you’ll experience daebak~~!”

True to Shindong’s words, a huge crowd of people can be seen surrounding the academy’s entrance, with media outlets competing for the best shots and angles. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and this photo alone certainly proves the immense popularity of Super Junior in Taiwan.

Newlywed couple for the Chinese version of ‘We Got Married‘, Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun and Chinese actress Lou Yi Xiao shared a new couple-photo with their fans.

Lou Yi Xiao shared the above photo and via her Weibo page on February 3rd and wrote, “Happy birthday to my friend Kyu Hyun.”

The two are an on-air couple on the Chinese version of ‘We Got Married‘, and wife Lou Yi Xiao wanted to wish her ‘husband’ a very happy birthday with a public message.

Both Kyu Hyun and Lou Yi Xiao are the same age (24), and are getting to know each other on the program which has the same format as the Korean ‘We Got Married’.

Netizens who saw the photo showed their support by saying, “Happy Birthday Kyu Hyun oppa“, “You two look close now“, “I am against this marriage“, and more.

In related news, are T-ara‘s Hyomin and Fu Xinbo of Chinese idol group BoBo will also be another couple on the program, and the pilot episode airs on the 11th & 12th via Shanghai Media Group.

Super Junior member Shindong exposed a new truth regarding his fellow group members.

On the February 2nd episode of ‘Joo Byung Jin’s Talk Concert‘, idol stars Shindong, KARA‘sJiyoung, T-ara‘s Jiyeon, Rainbow‘s Jaekyung, and ZE:A’s Lim Siwan guest featured and shared their secrets to maintaining good health.

Siwan surprised the others by remarking that he likes a glass of soju every night, while Shindong made them laugh by saying, “Even when it comes to vitamins, I consume them until I feel full and satisfied.”

He also added, “Us Super Junior members don’t like to share our multi vitamins. All of us have the best health products hidden in our individual rooms, and we take them alone without sharing with one another.”

Meanwhile, Jiyeon remarked that she takes supplements, while Jaekyung likes to start her day right by eating thick bacon for ample energy.

On the episode of MBC TV‘s ‘Joo Byung Jin’s Talk Concert‘ that aired on February 2nd, guest T-ara‘s Jiyeon sadly remarked, “My brother (Park Hyo Jun) likes Hyomin unni better than me. When it was her birthday, he sent her a rush delivery cake, but he never sends things like that for me.”

Super Junior’s Shindong seemed to relate and understand how she felt. He offered some comfort by saying, “It’s okay, it’s inevitable because you’re family. My sister isn’t a fan of Super Junior, she likes B2ST. She has one photo featuring both of us in her room and it’s not even a recent photo but rather a photo that we took six years ago. Other than that, her walls are covered with numerous posters of B2ST’s Lee Kikwang.”

In related news, five of the top Hallyu idols guest-featured on this particular episode opened up about the various highs and lows of living life as an idol star.

Super Junior-M‘s Henry has been tweeting up a storm lately.  His latest update includes a photo that’s dear to his heart.

On December 25th, the idol posted a baby picture of himself with his brother. He added the caption, “ke ke Some old pics my sister found! Merry Christmas, everyone!“ Fans cooed over how the brothers wore identical outfits and even held hands for the camera.

Meanwhile, TRAX‘s Jungmo shared a picture with present-day Henry at a restaurant, rocking reindeer headbands to mark their holiday spirit.
